A New Chapter in My Professional Journey
Hi everyone, my name is Maximiliano Romero, and I’m excited to officially welcome you to the Codeartec blog. This space represents much more than just a blog; it’s the result of years of learning, growth (which will continue), and the firm belief that technology can transform everything.
During my career, I’ve developed solutions, applications, and automation systems that not only met technical requirements but also improved the user experience. But I also embarked on projects that led nowhere—initiatives born more out of a desire to use a new tool than to solve a problem or meet a need, and they didn’t work out so well. Because not everything is a success on the path we travel, and every project, successful or not, was an invaluable opportunity to learn and grow.
Throughout this journey, the best and most consistent thing I’ve found is the people—the kind of people I love working with and with whom I feel comfortable sharing this curiosity for fixing things. I understand that code is a means to an end, and now, more than ever, the focus is elsewhere.
The stereotype of the “IT guy” who is withdrawn and has poor communication skills outside of technical fields seems wrong to me. Interdisciplinary collaboration is the best thing that can happen to us. What’s the point of building a table that no one uses? From a painting to a can opener, everything has a purpose, an end, a goal. Software is created from the need to solve problems or make things easier, which ultimately means the end result is for us, the people.
Why Codeartec?
Codeartec was born from a conversation with my wife about what my job is actually about, and the name is purely and exclusively her invention. It’s a blend of the words “Code” + “Art” + “Technology”.
Its purpose is to bring together experiences and reflections with technology as the starting point, aiming to make topics related to technology and its applications more accessible to everyone.
Technology shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for large corporations; technological innovation can be simple, accessible, and transformative—especially now, with the power of Artificial Intelligence so readily available. I firmly believe that knowledge should be shared so we can all grow together.
I am committed to continuing to learn and grow as a person and as a professional. Technology is constantly evolving, and I’d like to use this channel as an excuse to meet more people who are on the same path.
